LG X Power

The midrange family is growing day and night and LG wants to be part and parcel of it, be it in the smartphone or tablet niche.

The latest additions in the U.S. market are the LG X Power and LG G Pad X II tablet. These two are coming via the local carrier U.S. Cellular, which means that they can be obtained via the usual 24-month or 30-month contracts offered on the platform.

So, if you are one serious LG fan that is looking for a new midrange phone that will possibly take you through days on a single charge, the LG X Power is the best option available now. Keep in mind that you need to agree to use U.S. Cellular in order to take advantage of this deal. The good side of the story is that neither device requires a down payment in order to get it.

The LG X Power is a great-looking handset and it comes with impressive specs on board, especially when looking at its price tag. Of course, don’t expect anything extraordinary from this entry-level phone, but you will enjoy the minimalist look it comes with, alongside the beautifully curved rear that makes it easy to hold in one hand.

Specs-wise, the LG X Power has a 5.3-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, you get an underwhelming Snapdragon 210 SoC and there is Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. There is an 8MP sensor on the back of the phone whereas the front panel has a 5MP snapper. Perhaps the most impressive part of the LG X Power is the fact that it comes with a massive 4100mAh battery unit.

As noted earlier, there is no upfront payment for the installments that range from 20-30 months. However, buying the LG X Power out of contract will attract a fee of $149.99. This is the same pricing package you get with the LG G Pad X II tablet, but it is payable in either 24 months or 30 months’ installments.

For a fee of $149.99, you will get yourself a 10.1-inch TFT device with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 617 SoC, which we all know is a midranger. This is paired with a RAM of 2GB and you get a 6000mAh battery unit.
