Mazda 2 Tech Edition is coming to stores and will be limited to just 750 units in total making it a coveted car to go for, especially for those who love to collect such exquisite models.
The automobile company had confirmed that it will be available in stores in July which is just a month to go. The upcoming model has been designed in such a way that it will be more expensive and limited in numbers to boost the overall sales of the newly refreshed Mazda. The term Tech Edition has been used with a purpose as it offers some additional equipment along with whatever standard equipment is available in the supermini. However, it is also being said that the pricing will be very competitive so as to provide buyers the opportunity to go for it and not the competing brands.
The base model which is priced at £14,695 is what the Mazda 2 Tech Edition is designed on. It features two unique style changes along with the 16-inch alloy wheels. The manufacturer also provides four different premium paint jobs to choose from. If you love different colors and a car that looks different from the conventional choices, the Tech Edition is a great pick. It is also equipped with a wide range of default features including rear parking sensors, automatic headlights, windscreen vipers that detect climate and function accordingly, climate control, privacy glass and also has SE-L NAV.
Some of these features are usually reserved for the top of the line models. However, the idea is to make this particular limited edition model standout from the crowd. The auto brand has thrown in some amazing features which also has a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The screen is large enough to easily navigate and find the media content that the passenger needs besides being useful when using the satellite navigation map system. The infotainment system supports Bluetooth making it easy for you to connect your smartphones among other devices with the car’s setup.
A moderately powerful 1.5-liter four cylinder petrol engine is used to power up the car which can deliver about 89 horsepower and can go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 9.4 seconds. The numbers are definitely not on par with the super cars and hypercars but for the Mazda 2 Tech Edition which is more fuel efficient, a road friendly car, these numbers are usually more than enough. Compared to the SE-L Nav Car, the pricing which is at £14,695 is about £300 more.
