Meizu 16X has appeared on Geekbench today ahead of its official launch that is scheduled to take place on September 19 in China.
The Meizu 16X Geekbench listing of the smartphone has revealed some of its key specs. The listing has revealed that it has scored respectively in single-core and multi-core tests. The Snapdragon 710 chipset is present under the hood of the phone. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM. It is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
The 64 GB Meizu 16X is expected to feature 64 GB of native storage. Meizu CEO Jack Wong has confirmed that the highest configuration of the phone will be coming with 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. The TENAA listing of the 16X has revealed that it will be equipped with a notch-less 6-inch AMOLED screen that will carry support for 18:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution. One of the key features of the phone will be that it will be arriving with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
The Meizu 16X will be borrowing 12-megapixel Sony IMX380 + 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 dual camera setup from the Meizu 16 and 16 Plus phon. For shooting selfies, it will be equipped with 20-megapixel selfie camera. It may come packed with 3,000mAh battery. The handset may hit the market in colors like ceramic white, black and matte gold. It is expected to carry a price tag of around 2,000 Yuan ($290).
