Last year May, the Meizu Pro 6 was launched and with it came quite an interesting bunch of specs and features.
The phone came with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display screen that supported 3D Touch technology and was protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4. Although powered by the unpopular MediaTek Helio X25 processor, the handset came in with a monstrous 21MP shooter on the back that boasts a unique 10-LED (dual tone) flash alongside features such as phase detection and laser AF, HDR and more. You also find support for the latest standards such as fast charging, USB-C, 4G LTE as well as a fingerprint scanner.
After releasing the Meizu Pro 6 back in May 2016, the Chinese tech giant followed the initial gray, silver and gold color variants with two more color variants later last summer – rose gold and flames red.
In November 2016, the same company followed the Meizu Pro 6 with a Plus variant and as you’d expect, this model bumps up the specs of its predecessor, coming in with a larger 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen with 3D Touch technology, an Exynos 8890 SoC and a 12MP shooter on the back with 4-axis OIS, phase detection and laser AF as well as ten-LED flash. You still get a fingerprint scanner, USB-C, fast charging and 4G LTE connectivity, among others.
Just like the Meizu Pro 6, the Pro 6 Plus variant was first unveiled in three color variants of gray, silver and gold. Now, in fresh reports, an alleged flames red color variant of the Meizu Pro 6 Plus has appeared on China’s social networking platform – Weibo. A closer look at the images will reveal that this new color is even brighter and actually more striking than the flames red of the original Meizu Pro 6. Nonetheless, we don’t expect any changes in terms of specs and features.
We’ll keep following up the matter and update you with the latest developments. Keep following us!
