The Minecraft 1.21.2 Bundles of Bravery is on the verge of getting a full-fledged release. Fans can look forward to the drop update coming out in the next few weeks. As was the case with the last two pre-releases, the focus this time is on bug fixes. Though the bug fixes are not aplenty, fans should not feel disheartened as it could mean that most of the reported bugs have already been addressed. Through the bug fixes rolled out as a part of the Bundles of Bravery drop, the developers seem to be working towards resolving towards the few problems that had not been addressed.

Minecraft 1.21.2 Pre-release 3 ended up fixing a bug that was leading passengers like piglins and villagers to dismount boats and minecarts when they underwent a transformation as zombie piglins zombie villagers. The sound glitches created by mobs perishing in lava is another issue that this new pre-release addressed.
Through this pack, several important changes have been brought to the fore. Along with frame and background textures for tooltips, one can also see highlight textures and slot backgrounds for the Bundle tooltip. Players will also get to witness some important technical changes. Container, bundle and slot_background texture have now been added to the bundle slot background.
One has to make a special mention of the bugs that have been fixed through this update. Earlier, one would see projectiles falling off when shot into a wall featuring a high tick rate. This issue has now been resolved. In their death animations, mobs create the fire extinguishing sound every tick. This issue, too, has now been resolved.
Pre-releases are designed very similarly to snapshots. However, they mostly comprise bug fixes. They are mostly rolled out when the development cycle of a Minecraft update is about to come to an end. Those who want to try these fixes and changes that have been brought in through 1.21.2 Pre-release 3, need to just follow a few simple steps to download it.
First, you need to open the Minecraft launcher on your PC. On the left side, you will see the Minecraft Java Edition. You need to click on it. After that, you need to click on the Installations tab which is right next to the Play tab. Under Version, you will come across Snapshots. You have to turn it on. After that, you have to click on New Installation. Then, you have to select the Latest Snapshot (1.21.2-pre3). The next step involves clicking on Create. After this, you will have to return to the Play tab and choose the latest Snapshot (1.21.2-pre3). To start playing Pre-release 3, you have to hit the Play button.

It would be a good idea to take a few precautions and remember some important things before you go through Pre-release 3. It would be a good idea not to step into a world in which you play regularly. You should consider creating a proper backup of your world or work towards putting together a new world altogether.
