The alleged Moto G7 has been recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S.
XT1965 is speculated to be the model number that belongs to the upcoming Moto G7 smartphone. The FCC documents contains juicy details on the country variants of the XT1965 smartphone. It also includes vital information on chipset, RAM and storage of the alleged Moto G7 phone.
Moto G7 Country Variants
The FCC documents reveal that the model number XT1965-1 will be heading to the U.S. and Canada. These regions will be receiving only the single-Sim edition of the phone. The Motorola XT1965-2 will be released in Latin American markets. Mexico and Argentina will be getting its single-SIM version. Rest of Latin America including Brazil will be provided with single-SIM and dual-SIM versions of the smartphone. Brazil will be receiving only the dual-SIM version of the phone.
The XT1965-3 comes in single-SIM and dual-SIM versions for Western Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. The X1965-4 model number that carries dual-SIM support is meant for India. The XT1965-6 will be arriving in single-SIM and dual-SIM options in China. The handset measures 156.86 x 75.4 mm which suggests that it could be equipped with a notched display of 6.2 inches. Moto G7 Specifications
The alleged Moto G7 will be powered by Snapdragon 660. It will also include 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage. The below image shows that the rear side of the phone will be featuring a horizontal dual camera setup housed in a circular module. The Motorola logo placed on the back shell could be embedded with a fingerprint reader. The variants of the smartphone heading to Latin America, Western Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand will carry support for NFC connectivity.
Moto XT1952-2 and Moto XT1955 Spotted
The predecessor Moto G6 and G6 Plus were respectively fueled by Snapdragon 450 and Snapdragon 630 chipsets.
We have also spotted XT1952-2 in FCC listings and XT1955 certified last month in EEC website. Moto XT1952-2 has a 3000 mAh battery while nothing is known about XT1955.
The exact identities of these model numbers are yet to be known. They could be Moto G7 or G7 Plus or other variants of Moto G7. Whatever it may be, it will be the first Motorola phone to feature Snapdragon 660 SoC.
