Motorola Edge 20 with model number XT2143-1 and Motorola Edge 20 Pro with model number XT2153-1 have appeared at the Geekbench benchmarking site, revealing a few specifications.
The entire specs of the phones were revealed through their TENAA listings earlier this month. Motorola Edge 20 is expected to launch with the Edge 20 Pro in China on August 5.
The XT2143-1 Motorola handset has scored 769 in the single-core test and 2778 in the multi-core test. The “berlin” codename of the device is mentioned in the motherboard field in the Geekbench listing. XT2153-1 has scored 973 and 3071 owing to the higher-end processor. “Pstar” is the codename of this phone and it’s visible in the Geekbench listing.
While the exact moniker of the chipset is not mentioned in the Edge 20 (XT2143-1) listing, it can be said that it will come equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The processor in Edge 20 Pro (XT2153-1) is nothing but Snapdragon 870 5G. The listings further mention that they have 8 GB of RAM and run on Android 11 OS.
The Motorola Edge 20 has a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ screen that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The TENAA images of the phone have suggested that it could be featuring a dedicated button for accessing the voice assistant.
The Edge 20 is expected to arrive in China in RAM options like 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB and storage choices like 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The device is expected to house a 3,760mAh (rated value) battery.
The Android 11 OS will come preinstalled on both Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro. It was revealed by reliable tipster Evan Blass that both smartphones will sport a 32MP front and a 108MP + 16MP + 8MP triple camera system at the rear. While
The Edge 20 Pro that is expected to launch alongside the Edge 20 is likely to come with a 4,230mAh battery whereas Edge 20 would have 3760 mAh battery. The rest of its specs could be almost identical to the vanilla model.
