A new Huawei Nova RTE-AL00 model number has received approval from the TENAA telecom authority of China.
While the listing has the images of the phone, there is no information available on its specs. Also, it is the final marketing moniker of the device is not known yet.
The TENAA listing only confirms that the RTE-AL00 Huawei phone is a 4G LTE device. The display of the phone features a pill-shaped cutout at the upper-left corner. This indicates that the phone will come equipped with dual selfie cameras.

The back panel of the phone has Nova branding. The absence of a rear-facing or a side-mounted fingerprint scanner indicates that the phone has an OLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The top-left corner of the phone’s rear shell has an oval-shaped camera module with two camera rings. The top ring seems to be housing the main camera, whereas the remaining three cameras and an LED flash can be seen in the second ring.
The design of the Nova RTE-AL00 is similar to the Nova 8 Pro 4G/5G that debuted back in December. Hence, it is unclear whether the RTE-AL00 is a Nova 9 series or a new chipset variant of the Nova 8 Pro 4G. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know the specifications of the device.
