Mysterious Oppo CPH2325 is on the way, as the device gets certified by Indonesia’s certification authority.
A new Oppo smartphone bearing model number CPH2325 moves a step closer to the launch, as the device has now bagged approval from Indonesia’s TKDN authority. The marketing name of the phone is yet to be revealed by any certification or leaks.
TKDN listing fails to reveal any specs of the Oppo CPH2325 but confirms that it supports 4G connectivity. The phone was recently spotted on Russia’s EEC and India’s BIS certifications too. So, it is likely to arrive in at least these two markets. We can expect more details to surface once the device gets more certifications or through any other leaks.
Oppo is also said to be working on a Dimensity 810 chipset-powered phone. The performance of this new chipset is expected to match Huawei’s Kirin 820 SoC. This phone is rumored to have an LCD panel with a high refresh rate and a large capacity battery.
Following the trend, Oppo is also working on an under-display selfie camera phone. The company announced its second-generation under-display camera technology which showed improvements to the screen quality and image clarity. Oppo stated that its under-display camera tech would maintain the consistency of the entire screen, whether the selfie camera is in use or not. The panel has been developed jointly with BOE. To reach 440PPI pixel density even around the camera region, the company has developed an innovative pixel geometry. As of now, the company has announced when it will launch its first phone with the new under-display camera technology.
While Oppo is yet to unveil its first under-display camera phone, ZTE has already launched two phones with this new technology – Axon 20 and Axon 30. The Axon 20 couldn’t manage to grab much attention due to the wrong selfie camera positioning, but the recently-launched Axon 30 is a much better upgrade over the previous one. Xiaomi is also using the hidden selfie camera in Mi MIX 4 which is set to unveil on August 10. Samsung is also on the list. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold3 is also believed to have an under-display selfie camera.
