The high performance model, the Nissan 370Z NISMO is going to get launched in the month of August and when it does, it will officially join the GT-R NISMO which is already available in Australia.
When it comes to the greatest and fastest premium cars, Australia isn’t the top choice for brands. However, Nissan picking the region after US, UK is a welcome addition for buyers in the country. After all, they have very little choice when it comes to opting for a high performance sports car. The GT-R made its debut earlier and now the performance division of Nissan, NISMO is ready to bring the next 370Z to the Australian market on August 29th.
At the moment, the original 370Z launched way back in 2009 is the existing model which will soon be replaced by the fully tweaked, high performance version with the same name. The particular model is already available in many other countries with varying engine options. The standard model is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine and a similarly powerful powertrain is expected to find its way into the Australian version of the Nissan car.
The brand’s 370 Coupe is already available in the country which is priced at $56,930 and when the performance variant gets launched, it is expected to be below the $100,000 mark so that the pricing structure is properly maintained. Compared to other variants available, the upcoming 370Z NISMO could be the cheapest performance variant available in Australia.

Nissan has earlier confirmed that they have plans to launch at least three different cars designed by their performance division. The brand’s future vision for the NISMO name is quite unclear for customers in the region because they have been releasing and announcing multiple models one after the other. It may even include the launch of Pulsar and Note small cars which could easily find takers in Australia. After all, there is always a huge demand for compact, high performance models. If the pricing is right, it wouldn’t be so difficult for Nissan to find a strong market after they launch the 370Z NISMO in the country.
The automobile brand has also confirmed that they have some big plans for their performance division NISMO. The particular category will be expanded drastically, if we are to go by their statement and a number of new launches are heading to stores starting from 2019 and will go all the way up to 2022 adding electric cars to the list.
