OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition with 10GB RAM Launching on December 14 in China

OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is a special version of OnePlus’ most recent flagship phone.

The handset has been in the rumors since the past few days. Recent reports have revealed that it will be debuting as the first OnePlus phone with 10 GB of RAM. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed through Weibo that it will be launching the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition on December 14 in China.

The official Weibo post that confirms the arrival of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition states that it will be unveiled at the company’s the fifth anniversary special event on Dec. 14 at 2 PM. The event will be held at Shenzhen Fenghuo G&G Creative Community in Shenzhen, China. The launch poster does not confirm any details on the specifications of the smartphone.

Before announcing the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition in the home country, OnePlus will be unveiling it first in Woking, London on Dec. 11. In India, the limited-edition smartphone will be made official on Dec. 12.

In the past, OnePlus has launched various special edition smartphones such as OnePlus 3T Colette, OnePlus 5 JCC+, OnePlus 5T Star Wars and OnePlus 6 Avengers Infinity War. Rumors have it that the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be sporting an organ gradient color. The handset is expected to feature McLaren and OnePlus logos on the rear. The phone could be packed with a custom theme from McLaren.

As far as the specs of the phone are concerned, it won’t be very different from its regular version. It is speculated to arrive with 10 GB of RAM and an inbuilt storage of 256 GB. There is no information available on the pricing of the smartphone. More details of the phone are expected to surface as its launch nears.
