New OPPO phones with model numbers CPH1931 and CPH1937 have bagged approval Indonesia’s TKDN regulatory body.
CPH1945 and CPH1989 are two other upcoming phones that have been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). In addition to these, Oppo CPH1925, which is the model number for Oppo A1s, has also been approved by India’s BIS agency.
The identities of the other phones are currently under the wraps. However, among these, only the key specs of CPH1931 phone are known. The TKDN and BIS listings of the aforementioned phones haven’t revealed any details on their specs.
Before appearing at TKDN, OPPO CPH1931 was spotted on the database of Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Bluetooth SIG. While EEC did not leak any information, its Bluetooth certification revealed that it is equipped with 6.5-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 665 chipset that works at 2GHz, 5,000 mAh battery, ColorOS 6.0 based Android OS, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi.
Oppo ‘A’ and ‘K’ Series?
A recent report by 91mobiles had revealed that OPPO is planning to launch as many as 5 to 6 smartphones in India before the Diwali festival season in October. These phones are expected to available in the Indian market at different price points. The report speculated that the upcoming phones for India may include new OPPO A and K-series phones. The approval of Oppo A1s pretty much confirms this report. The CPH1945 and CPH1989 could be the model numbers of the upcoming OPPO smartphones for the country.
Oppo CPH1931, CPH1941, CPH1951
In related news, when EEC had recently approved the CPH1931 phone. It had also certified two other OPPO phone like CPH1941 and CPH1951. Again, there is no information available on the names of these devices.
OPPO is expected to announce a premium flagship phone later this year. The smartphone will be sporting a 21:9 aspect ratio display with extremely curved edges with a curvature 88 degrees. The design of its display is dubbed as ‘Waterfall Screen.’ The smartphone could be equipped with OPPO’s under-display camera technology.
