Oppo F3 will be Launched Tomorrow Priced at about $345 – Check out these Press Renders and Promo Images

Oppo F3

It’s not long since the Oppo F3 Plus came to life and according to the latest reports, the standard Oppo F3 will be officially unveiled tomorrow, May 4.

The Oppo F3 has been in the rumor mills for quite some time now and if anything, just about all specs and features of the handset are already out there. We’ve seen leaked images, benchmarks as well as leaks and in fact, the latest information comes courtesy of another leak first obtained by Android Pure.

According to the publication, the upcoming Oppo F3 will ship with a metallic design language that is no different from what the Plus version has. But as you may have already guessed, the Plus variant is bigger in size compared to the standard model. The leaked press renders can also confirm that the handset will feature a front-mounted fingerprint scanner and not-so-big bezels on the sides.

The top bezel also reveals a dual-lens camera setup, something that had already been confirmed in previous reports. Apparently, the Oppo F3 will have a 5.5-inch display screen with a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Under the hood, the midrange phone will come in with a MediaTek MT6750T chipset that is paired with a Mali-T860 GPU and a decent RAM of 4GB.

In terms of storage, the Oppo F3 has 64GB, which can also be expanded via a microSD card slot, but be warned that this slot is not dedicated to external storage, rather, it’s the second SIM card slot. In short, you can have two SIM cards and a microSD card in the phone at the same time. On the downside, the F3, just like the bigger F3 Plus, has Android Marshmallow out of the box.

The major selling point of the Oppo F3, like other Oppo phones, will be the selfie camera. Here, the phone brings you a dual-lens setup of 16MP+8MP and just like the F3 Plus, this sensor has a 120-degree wide-angle view to make sure that none of your friends is left out of those group selfies. For the rear camera, you get a 13MP shooter that should ship with a bunch of top-notch features, including PDAF and 1080p video recording.

Keeping it alive will be a 3200mAh battery unit that supports fast charging technology. You’ll also get support for Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE and VoLTE. Apparently, the Oppo F3 will be priced at Rs 21,990, which is about $345 – and cheaper than the Rs 30,990 ($480) price tag for the Oppo F3 Plus.
