Although the Chinese manufacturer Oppo has unveiled a number of smartphones in the recent past, none of them can claim to actually offer outstanding specs.
The company has decided to knock off this complaint in the minds of its lovers with the upcoming Oppo Find 9 expected to be announced in in June 2016 and released shortly after this. As of now, the Oppo 9 is rumored to be priced on the slightly higher side. The Find series of the manufacturer’s devices have always been known to introduce the latest hardware in the market coupled with original software. These are anticipated to hold good for the Find 9 too. Interestingly, the Oppo Find 9 was recently found a place for itself in the GFXBench listing under the code name X9009.
Although there are no reports that give input on how big the smartphone will be when it enters the market, there are speculative talks about the body material and weight of the Oppo Find 9. If these are to be believed, the device weighs close to 160g that in turn makes it neither too bulky nor too light. Added to this, the fact that the Find 9 will in almost all probability come with a metal body could give the handset a good chance to prove its ruggedness. Leaked images also portray the smartphone to have sharp corners.
While the overall dimensions are not known, the handset will have a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen in accordance with WinFuture, a German technology blog. A noteworthy point is that this screen is said to support 4K display capability as per a leaked report on Weibo by the well-known HQ_vision in the country. WinFuture also states that the Oppo Find 9 will support five-finger gesture apart from the standard accelerometer, gyroscope, and proximity and light sensors.The screen resolution is projected at 1920 x 1080 with a corresponding 401ppi pixel density. Assuming that the figures listed are true, the gadget is not likely to let you down in terms of clarity. There are also chances of inclusion of a Quad HD display.
Giving way to gossips, the Find 9 is all set to follow a reverse trend in the camera department. While the rear primary shooter is more likely than not 12MP, the Oppo handset will come with a 16MP front secondary snapper. Using more megapixels for the ancillary camera than the key camera is something that the manufacturer is exploring for the first time, and is also not heard of from other competitors. The 12MP dual LED flash camera is believed to have a 4160 x 3120 image resolution and 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 video resolution. On the other hand, the 16MP shooter is supposed to render 4608 x 3456 image resolution and 1680 x 1248 video resolution. You can expect all standard features such as autofocus, HDR, touch focus, and face detection from the primary snapper. This camera will also be able to incorporate SmartSensor image stabilization using the tiniest sensor possible.
Unlike a few other earlier smartphones in the Find series, the Find 9 does not let out any information as to whether the handset will be available in more than one hardware configuration. There are steadfast rumors that the Oppo Find 9 will comprise the standard Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset found in the past models in this line. However going by the GFXBench listing, the reports state that the manufacturer has decided to trade this chipset for a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset. But, both sources support the fact that the device will embrace a Mali T810 graphics processor and an octa-core processor under its hood. Again, while one set of unconfirmed reports declare that the handset will be loaded with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, there is also a talk that the Find 9 is equipped with 4GB RAM and internal memory of 64GB. There is no input at all about the support of a memory card for further increment of memory.
With no revelations by the Chinese manufacturer or any third-party website regarding the battery, there are only assumptions that the device will accommodate a large Li-ion non-removable battery. There is a very little chance of the smartphone being able to support wireless charging. At the same time, there are good chances of the manufacturer’s very own Super VOOC fast charging to be implemented with improvisation being made to how it works.
