Oppo is gearing up to release its new flagship smartphones in China in October. The manufacturer is anticipated to launch its Find X8 and Find X8 Pro handsets with the upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset.
The latest reliable leak by trustworthy tipster Digital Chat Station on the popular Chinese Weibo platform highlights some interesting specifications of the Oppo Find X8.
Size and Design
According to DCS, the Find X8 will be smaller in size than the Pro counterpart. The smartphone will also have an IP 68/69 rating. This will make the chassis of the handset dustproof and water-resistant. It will come in blue, white and black shades. The phone will house a magnetic accessory ecosystem and virtual solid-state buttons.

Oppo Find X8 Display & Camera
Past leaks by DCS state that the smartphone will encompass a flat OLED panel that is 6.5 or 6.6 inches in size. The screen is slated to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. The screen will mostly support an optical fingerprint sensor.
The front camera details of the device are not known at the moment. However, for the primary camera setup, the smartphone will house three cameras. These will be a 50 MP primary camera with support for OIS, a telephoto periscope camera with 3x optical zoom and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens.
Battery, Operating System, RAM and Storage
The phone is speculated to arrive with a 5,600 mAh battery. This battery may offer support for 80 W or 100 W rapid charging.

For the operating system, the Oppo Find X8 is anticipated to come with Android 15 and ColorOS 15 installed out of the box. One variant is expected to arrive with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
