Oppo CPH1893 Geekbench listing has appeared today to reveal some of its key specs. It is the very same smartphone that had appeared with Oppo R17 Lite moniker on Bluetooth certification site.
The Oppo CHP1893 Geekbench appearance reveals that it is fueled by Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The handset is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo. In single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the handset has respectively scored 1453 and 5494 points.
Interestingly, the CPH1893 model number also belongs to the Oppo R17 Neo that has recently launched in Japan as the country’s first phone with in-display fingerprint scanner. As of this writing, the smartphone is only available in Japan. However, the appearance of Oppo R17 Lite moniker suggests seems that the smartphone will be available outside of Japan with that name.
As the name goes, the R17 Lite is the toned-down edition of the Oppo R17 smartphone. The handset is equipped with 6.41-inch AMOLED teardrop notch display that supports Full HD+ resolution. For shooting selfies, it features a 25-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear panel features 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. It is packed with a 3,600 mAh battery. It features a native storage of 128 GB and there is a microSD card slot for extra storage. The ColorOS 5.2 based Android 8.1 Oreo OS comes preinstalled on the device.
In Japan, the handset has arrived in color gradient versions of Blue and Red. It carries a pricing of JPY 38,988 ($345).
