Poco is the newest sub-brand from Xiaomi and Poco F1 is the name of the first smartphone that will be launched under the new brand.
It will be launching in India first on Aug. 22. The Chinese manufacturer has teamed up with Qualcomm to focus entirely on speed on the Poco F1. The handset has appeared as “Xiaomi POCOPHONE F1” on Geekbench benchmarking platform to reveal its key specs and performance.
As it can be seen above, the Poco F1 smartphone features Snapdragon 845 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. It is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo. In single-core test, the handset has scored 2,467 and in the multi-core test, it has scored 9,081. Not many smartphones powered by Snapdragon 845 have breached the 9,000mark multi-core score on Geekbench. Scouring through Geekbench listings of SD845 phones reveal that only Xiaomi Mi 8 and OnePlus 6 have multiple times on the benchmarking platform with over 9,000 multi-core score. This indicates that the Poco F1 has been indeed built to deliver topnotch performance.

Rumors have it that the Poco F1 will be arriving in specs like 5.99-inch notched display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB storage, 4,000mAh battery, 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera and 20-megapixel front camera. As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the Poco F1. However, it appears like that it may arrive with a pricing similar to Honor 10 and OnePlus 6.
