Every year there are new hyper cars designed to appease the car enthusiasts.
However, if a Porsche 919 hyper car is going to get a road friendly version, it’s a welcome addition to the lineup.
The top players in the market Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1 got launched almost four years ago. Even though it seems like yesterday, these cars have been around for quite some time with hardly any updates in the near future. The automobile manufacturers that are being the best models are still mulling over the fact if they should go with a hybrid model or go all-electric. Shifting from the conventional petrol engine is such a hard call for the brands.
Keeping those discussions aside, it is safe to say that these three models are known for their street legal performance and can be driven around without any law issues. The attention have now drastically moved onto the new generation of cars that are hogging the limelight these days. The list is dominated by the Aston Martin Valkyrie and the Mercedes AMG Project One.

Both these models have already been known for delivering the best on-road performance but there seems to be a new entrant in the list. While the much anticipated Porsche 918 is not going to get launched until 2020, the Peisert design has decided to come up with a Porsche 919 hypercar of their own. The upcoming model will be a pure hybrid edition that brings the best of the Mission E concept from Porsche and share design elements from the Porsche 911 GT1 Strassen version.
While the idea is still in its early stages, it may go on floors if the companies decide to join hands and produce a hybrid version of the road friendly Porsche 919 model. Let’s hope it happens in the near future.
