Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition (RMX3551) 3C Certified, Fast Charging Capabilities Revealed

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition with the RMX3551 model number has been approved by the 3C authority of China. Recently, the device was certified by China’s TENAA telecom authority.

These certifications are a good hint that the GT 2 Master Edition will be launching soon in the home market. Rumors have it that it will launch soon after the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

The 3C certification of the RMX3551 reveals that it could be equipped with a new 100W charger that has the VCBAJACH model number. Realme launched the Realme GT Neo 3 in March as the world’s first smartphone with 150W fast charging support. Now, it appears that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will break cover as the world’s first phone with 100W charging support.

Realme is expected to launch the GT Neo 3 soon after the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Rumors are rife that Xiaomi’s flagship phone will launch in the first week of July.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Specifications (Rumored)

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, which probably supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform. The SoC will be accompanied by up to 12 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It will run on the Android 12 OS and Realme UI 3.0.

The GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature a 16MP front camera and a 50M (main) + 50MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera unit. For security, it will have an in-screen fingerprint scanner.  The GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is likely to cost around 3,500 Yuan ($522) in China.
