Several reports have claimed that Motorola’s next flagship phone with the “Frontier” codename will carry support for 125W fast charging. The Frontier device is expected to launch in the global markets with the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra moniker. In China, it will be called the Motorola Edge X30 Pro.

The XT2241-1 Motorola handset has been spotted with a 125W fast charger, which has a model number of MC-1258, in the database of the 3C certification. Hence, it appears to be the Edge X30 Pro / Edge 30 Ultra. It will be Motorola’s fastest charging smartphone.

The Motorola Edge X30 Pro will feature a 6.73-inch pOLED FHD+ curved edge display with support a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 125W fast charging support. It is also expected to support 50W rapid charging.
The Edge X30 Pro will feature a 200MP / 194MP main camera with OIS support on the rear. It will be coupled with a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP telephoto camera. For selfies, it will have a 60MP front camera. It will boot to Android 12 OS and come equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
