Realme is actively working on its Realme GT Neo 7 to launch the smartphone before the end of the year.
The other smartphone in the pipeline from the manufacturer for this year is the Realme GT 7 Pro that is likely to be released first. New leaks have now emerged from two different sources about the upcoming GT Neo 7. They share some insights into the likely launch date and specifications of the smartphone as well as its competitors.
Expected Realme GT Neo 7 Specifications
According to a leak by well-known tipster Smart Pikachu, the manufacturer has accelerated its work on the handset. He goes on to add that the smartphone will be ideal for gaming with its flat screen and a resolution of 1.5K. This combination is anticipated to improve the gaming experience.
The Realme GT Neo 7 will be powered by an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. While the leak does not explicitly say so, the mention that the processor will have two cores is a sign that there will mostly be a dedicated graphics chip.

Even though the exact battery capacity is not mentioned, it is tipped that the smartphone will be packed with a big battery. This battery will feature 100 W charging support.
Price, Competitors, and Launch Timeframe
The above tipster refers to the GT Neo 7 as a price killer. This could mean that the handset might have a slightly high price tag attached to it.
Going by another post by Digital Chat Station on the Weibo platform, the smartphone is expected to compete or be at par with the upcoming Redmi K80, OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, and iQOO Neo 10 Pro.
It is anticipated that the Realme GT 7 Pro will be launched by the manufacturer in December. Its predecessors, the Realme GT Neo 6 as well as Realme GT Neo 6 SE were unveiled in the home market earlier this year. The manufacturer focusing on first launching its Realme GT 7 Pro in November.
