Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game that has always received a lot of accolades for its look that is intense and sophisticated in equal measure.

Since Red Dead Redemption 2 has existed for several years now, there is no dearth of GIFs and funny videos showcasing all that has gone wrong in the game. Mostly, RDR 2 players post these clips in good humor to spread some cheer around. Sometimes, social media users compete amongst themselves about who will share the funniest bug or glitch.

The newest entry in this regard has arrived from LewRiot, a Reddit user, who shared a video with the caption, “I think Charles needs an eye-test”. In this particular clip, Arthur (as controlled and monitored by the player) and Charles are shown to be racing on horseback and moving towards a speeding train. Arthur stops his horse so that it doesn’t hit the train but Charles, for some reason, doesn’t do that. He, along with his horse, dashes onto one corner of the train and in the process, ends up killing both himself and the horse.

The mission was declared to be a failure as Charles was forced to kill himself owing to the RDR 2 bug. Once the characters lost their lives, the screen turned grey and all the action happening on it slowed down gradually. Usually, something like this happens when a player starts a new mission. A message, stating that the mission had failed owing to Charles’ horse dying, was flashed on the screen.

Many Reddit users pointed out that the game didn’t offer much clarity on what happened to Charles. It seemed to be more concerned about the horse than Charles, they observed. While many found the incident to be shocking, some had a good laugh over it.
