Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is speculated to be working on the Redmi K80 series comprising the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro for the Chinese market.
Based on talks doing the rounds, these smartphones are likely to be launched in November, a month after the Xiaomi 15 lineup comprising the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are slated to be launched.
Radio Certification Listing
Two new smartphones have recently been spotted on China’s radio certification platforms with their model numbers. They were also earlier found in the IMEI database. The handsets are believed to be the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro.

The K80 is associated with model number 24122RKC7C in the radio certification platform. On the other hand, the K80 Pro features the 24117RK2CC model number on the same platform.
Redmi K80 and K80 Pro Specifications
According to recent reports, the K80 will house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood. The K80 Pro will, on the other hand, come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
The two handsets are likely to have flat OLED panels with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution. While the K80 may use an optical fingerprint sensor for security, the K80 Pro could incorporate an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for the same purpose.

No information is available about the camera details of the K80 at the moment. As for the K80 Pro, the smartphone may have a 50 MP main camera accompanied by a 50 MP 3x telephoto camera and an ultra-wide lens. The details of the front camera are yet to be known.
The two Redmi smartphones are speculated to have the same battery. They may be powered by a 6,500 mAh battery with up to 120 W fast charging support.
According to rumors, the Redmi K80 Pro will be exclusive to the home market in China. However, the K80 may have a global launch with the Poco F7 rebranding. It is also anticipated that the K80 and K80 Pro will compete with the Ace 5 and 5 Pro in China with the same chipsets.
