Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could look like this

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ Unpacked

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are the current talk of the town following their launch towards the end of last month. Now that everything is known about these two phones, talk of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has started heating up, with some rumors claiming that the phablet could be here earlier than usual.

Last year, the predecessor to Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was unveiled in August and if the latest rumors are to be believed, this year’s model could at around the same time or possibly earlier than that. This is hard to believe at the moment, just as it’s hard to believe many other details of the Note 8. Nonetheless, this is the usual path that follows the launch of major devices, something that helped a lot in knowing what Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ were going to be like once unveiled.

A few weeks ago, alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 8 sketches leaked online and if they are to be believed, the phablet will take after the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in shipping with an infinity display screen. The sketches confirmed missing physical buttons and a curved display, but the latest leaks have now put these sketches into something more real, possibly renders of the phone.

While these images might not be directly associated with Samsung, they sure give us a clearer view of what the Galaxy Note 8 might just look like. The images even go further to include a dedicated button for Bixby, something that appears to be here to stay.

A few days ago, alleged prototypes of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 were leaked in a video, suggesting that this phone could come with a dual-lens camera. This is possible given that many expected this feature to make its debut on the Galaxy S8, alongside a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display, which is also another feature that is being touted for the Galaxy Note 8. In fact, Sammy has reportedly conceded that it put a lot of money into developing a fingerprint sensor that can be installed under the display, but time wasn’t on their side. If this is to be believed, it is possible that this feature will make its debut on the Note 8.

Keep in mind that these are just rumors and as such, take them with a grain of salt. But with the focus turning away from the Galaxy S8 and S8+, be ready for more of these rumors and speculations, just like it has been the case with the S8 series.
