Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 2017 editions are about to get launched before which official photos of the phones have leaked online.
They give us a clear idea of how these phones would look much before Samsung could reveal them in a launch event.
The brand is not going to make buyers wait any longer because these new models are scheduled to get launched in the month of January. The mid-range phones are supposed to offer flagship quality screen, great performance and build quality without the exorbitant pricing. The photos leaked are from the German edition of the phone, according to a report published in Winfuture.
In terms of style, the Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 2017 models are very similar to the outgoing phones. There are some minor tweaks made to the design but the proprietary rounded edges and home button used in every Samsung phone has been retained for another year. After all, the company would hardly want another lawsuit from Apple or any other company for copying their home button.
From these photos, we can deduce that the rounded edges are more rounded than they used to be making it easy to grip the phone in one hand. The company has gone with a metal casing which usually adds up to the overall cost of the phone but we expect it to be focused on the mid-range market unlike a Pixel or an iPhone 7. Color variants available will include peach cloud pink, coral blue, sand gold and sky black.
When it comes to specification, once again Samsung has its own set of traditional components. The Galaxy A3 and A5 2017 will use different versions of the Exynos 7870 Octa core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space. Making a smartphone with just 2 gigabytes of RAM sounds ridiculous for a 2017 launch. However, if they manage to optimize the software efficiently, it just might run smooth without any hiccups. The storage capacity can be expanded using micro SD slot. The phones have Bluetooth 4.1 with super AMOLED screen for highest display quality. It is expected to be a compact model with a 4.7-inch screen but the 1280×720 pixel resolution sounds tad disappointing. Samsung is yet to confirm the specifications of the Galaxy A3 and A5 2017 editions. When they do so, we can confirm whether the company is going for a 720p resolution or not. It’s not the best choice in an era where 4K screens are becoming more affordable than ever.
