Samsung Galaxy A51 (SM-AF15F/N) Bags Bluetooth SIG Certification as Launch Nears

The Bluetooth SIG body has approved the Samsung Galaxy A51 smartphone with model number SM-A515F. The same model number had also appeared on the support page of Samsung Russia.

Today’s Bluetooth SIG certification is yet another approval for the smartphone as it has been already approved by Safety Korea certification, Wi-Fi Alliance and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). These certifications reveal that the release date of the Galaxy A51 is drawing near.

The Galaxy A51 (SM-AF15F/N) Bluetooth SIG certification reveals that it carries support for Bluetooth 5.0. In the past, many phones have gone official within one month of their appearance on Bluetooth SIG. Hence, there is a possibility that the Galaxy A51 may debut by the end of this year. However, rumors surrounding the phone have claimed Samsung will time its launch in the first quarter of 2020.

The first renders of the Galaxy A51 that were revealed in the previous week had shown that it will be boasting a high screen-to-body ratio as it features a Galaxy Note 10 like Infinity-O punch-hole display. It features an in-screen fingerprint reader. The rear shell of the phone has a Galaxy M30s like rectangular camera module that includes quad cameras and an LED flash.

Rumors have it that Samsung Galaxy A51 phone features a 48-megapixel main lens on its rear-mounted camera system. The phone may come with a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel. The Exynos 9630 chipset is present under the hood of the device. The Geekbench and Wi-Fi certifications of the Galaxy A51 have revealed that A51 will come preloaded with the most recent Android 10 OS.

Silver, Black and Blue could be the three color variants of the phone. Lastly, it was found through the Safety Korea certification site that the Galaxy A51 features a 4,000mAh battery.
