The battery details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90s (SM-A907F) has appeared on the SafetyKorea certification site.
The model number and the size of the battery have been revealed. The handset will arrive as an upgraded version of Galaxy A90 phone that was made official in September this year.
Information revealed via online reports earlier this year had stated that the Samsung SM-A907F smartphone will be arriving with an internal storage of 128 GB and it will be available in black and white color editions. The battery of SM-A907 model has passed SafetyKorea certification through which it has been found that it will have a model number of EB-BA907ABYL.
An image of the battery of Samsung Galaxy A90s has been found on the certification site. A closer look at the blurry text on the battery suggests that its rated capacity could be of 4,200mAh capacity.
In the second half of 2019, Samsung has been launching updated versions of A-series phones that it had launched in the first half of the year. So far, it has released Galaxy A10s, Galaxy A20s, Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A70s. The South Korean company is expected to release a few more A-series phones in the remaining months of the year.
Since the Galaxy A90 was made official in September, there is a possibility that the Galaxy A90s could be arriving by the end of the year or early 2020. The Galaxy A90 is a 5G phone. Hence, the A90s could be also debuting as an affordable 5G smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy A90 Specs
The Samsung Galaxy A90 has a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED full HD+ display with 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset and has up to 8 GB of RAM. It has 128 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. The 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera system is on the rear side of the device. Its front notch has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The A90 5G has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
