Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) Image Leaks Appear

Samsung is the leading seller of smartphones across the entire globe. The company was once a monster when it comes to the mid-range market; however, it has in recent times been facing stiff competition from other players from Asia, something that has resulted in a change of plan for the Korean company.

Samsung dropped the idea of releasing Galaxy S6 Mini last year thanks to the realization that people are falling in love with larger screens. This trend has even led to Apple dropping its usual 4-inch design for smartphones and instead come in with slightly larger 4.7-inch devices and even larger 5.5-inch iPhones, however, the iPhone maker has gone back to its roots with a new 4-inch iPhone SE.

Going back to Samsung, the company opted to come in with a range of Galaxy A and Galaxy J series smartphones boasting large enough displays and capable hardware. The company has already updated the former with a range of 2016 models, and now it seems attention has shifted to the lower end Galaxy J series.

Towards the end of last year, Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) was unveiled and there are current rumors pointing towards a new Galaxy J5 (2016) coming in very soon. Even before this rumors take shape, there seem to be other photo leaks coming in with respect to the Galaxy J7 (2016).

Samsung will equip the phablet with a battery unit of 3300mAh, something that might be a major factor in the sale of this year’s Galaxy J7. There is nothing to worry about LTE as well as NFC connectivity, with Samsung expected to use the latter to spread the use of its mobile payment system, Samsung Pay. If reports remain true, the 2016 Samsung Galaxy J7 will be powered by the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

As far as pricing is concerned, Samsung might price the Galaxy J7 (2016) in the regions of sub $300, however, there is no word of when this phone will be availed to the world. The sweet side of things is that the phablet already passed FCC inspection, which means it could be on its way to being unveiled in the coming days.
