Smartphone companies are consistently innovating in terms of design even though they have very little space to work with. Samsung has to compete with Apple yet not copy any of their phones and come up with new designs. The brand is slowly introducing premium grade materials and flagship design to the affordable range. The Galaxy J7 2017 edition stands proof to this. They already launched a couple of models in the last quarter of 2016 that proved their mettle.
The leaked render pictures showcase a phone made up of premium metallic body. While the company didn’t confirm the specifications, we do know that being a J series model, it will sport mid-range specifications making it an affordable choice for most buyers. It is expected that the device will make its appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2017. Along the concept photos, we also have had the chance to look at the 360 degree video released by Onleaks on their Twitter page.
According to leaked specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 will sport a 5.5-inch display with AMOLED screen and sport a 1080p resolution. Surprisingly, the render confirmed that the company is not going to go with a USB Type C port. Instead, it features the conventional micro USB port. The choice is not so good for a 2017 phone as most devices will change their ports next year. It does have a 3.5 mm headphone jack which is an obvious addition in a mid-range device.
All the basic features including a rear camera, physical home button and power button is there on the phone. The pricing is expected to be at $200 which brings it slightly below the mid-ranger models of 2016. However, the idea is to make it appealing to buyers around the globe. Specs wise it will uses an Octa core processor with 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB storage with micro SD card, 13 megapixel camera combined with 3,000 mAh battery for long lasting power.
