A few weeks ago, T-Mobile had launched the Samsung Galaxy J3 Star with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
The support page of the T-Mobile now states that it has a listing for Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. It states that the Android 8.0 Oreo flavored device will be available from July 13.
In April, Samsung had trademarked various monikers for Galaxy J3 and J7 smartphones including Galaxy J3 Star and Galaxy J7 Star which are now available through T-Mobile. Just as the Galaxy J3 Star features the same specs that are available on the regular Galaxy J3 (2018), the upcoming Galaxy J7 Star for T-Mobile is likely to include the specs that are available on the regular Galaxy J7 (2018).
In the previous week, a smartphone labelled as Galaxy J7 Aero had visited Geekbench. The J7 Areo has a model number of SM-J737V which suggests that it could be a Verizon edition of Galaxy J7 (2018). The Geekbench listing has confirmed that the handset features 2 GB of RAM and Exynos 7885 that includes a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor.
