Leaked Galaxy S22 Ultra dummy unit shows no sign of an S-Pen slot.

New details about the Galaxy S22 Ultra are popping up on the internet as the days go by. Recently, we saw renders of the S22 Ultra, and now a hands-on video of the Galaxy S22 Ultra dummy unit has surfaced online.

CoverPigtou in collaboration with xleaks7 has posted the hands-on video, revealing the entire design which matches the previously leaked renders, except for the fact that there’s no slot for S-Pen.

The dummy units remind us of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. This adds some weight to the rumor that the phone which is claimed to be Galaxy S22 Ultra, might actually launch as Galaxy Note 22 Ultra. Nothing is confirmed at the moment, as Samsung has not divulged anything about either the S22 series or the Note 22 series. For the moment, let’s just stick with the sho moniker.

According to the previous reports, the Galaxy S22 Ultra may come with a 6.8-inch dual-curved display and a P-shaped camera island on the rear side. The dummy unit has cutouts for the power and volume buttons on the right side. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is rumored to carry an S-Pen slot, but there’s no sign of it in the dummy unit.

Reliable tipster @OnLeaks (via Digit India) recently shared the leaked renders of the S22 Ultra, showing an S-Pen slot at the bottom. So, we are not sure if the device will get an S-Pen slot or not. Hopefully, more details will surface in the coming weeks that will clear this thing.

Apart from the S-Pen slot, pretty much everything is common in both the leaks. The renders show a P-shaped quad-camera setup on the back. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to feature a centered punch-hole cutout on the front for the selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to include 3 models – Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. South Korean giant has not even confirmed the development of the S22 series. However, the phones are likely to launch in early 2022.
