Those using Samsung Galaxy S6 model number SM-G920F and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge of model number SM-G925F on UK and Netherlands’ Vodafone network are reportedly receiving the new Marshmallow update. So, if you are living in this country, better check out for this update right away. The build number is XXU3DPB8. For Russians, the update is currently available on SER whereas Austria’s Three is also getting the same update.
Galaxy S6 Edge+ Marshmallow update coming to Canada on March 9
With the new Galaxy S6 Marshmallow update rolling out in South Korea and Europe, the same is also coming to other countries. Latest reports reveal that Canada’s Telus network has confirmed up to three dates for rolling out Galaxy S6 Marshmallow updates.
The first to receive the update will be those using Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the official date is March 9. As far as Galaxy S6 Edge Marshmallow update is concerned, the date has been set for March 16. Those waiting for the Galaxy S6 Android M update on Telus network will have to wait until April 13, but the company noted that these three dates are simply an “approximate and are subject to change.”
For those using Samsung Galaxy S6 on T-Mobile USA, the company confirmed that the Marshmallow update is coming, but it has yet to go past the Manufacturer Development stage. In short, the update is still in Samsung’s labs, after which it will head to T-Mobile for further internal tests and tweaks. It is, for this reason, many carrier-based Galaxy S6 models are still yet to receive the Marshmallow update.
