Samsung has officially confirmed that they will be unveiling their next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S9 during the Mobile World Congress next month.
Following the announcement, a huge price cut of $250 is now applicable on the Galaxy S8, S8+ and the Note 8.
Every time a flagship device is surpassed by a new arrival, retail stores tend to get rid of existing stocks so that they can make some space for the newly announced devices. The trend applies for all major devices like Google Pixel 2, Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 among other devices. However, Apple and Google follows an announcement schedule which often happens towards the end of the year while Samsung makes their announcement in the first quarter of every year giving buyers a major gap to choose their next big smartphone.
While some just can’t wait to get their hands on the new devices as soon as they are available, there are many patient buyers who wait for the big price drop before they decide to spend their hard earned money on these products. Probably you are one among them because if you haven’t upgraded your phone in the past two years and looking forward to join the bezel less, futuristic smartphone bandwagon this is the time to do so.
