We already know a few things about the 2018 Samsung Galaxy S9. For instance, the phone will keep the same design you see on the Galaxy S8, ship with a new Snapdragon 845 processor and Android Oreo out of the box.
Of course, these are easily the most obvious upgrades the Galaxy S9 is expected to come with, but there are others as well – most of which are still rumors and speculations. The latest report, for instance, is based on speculation. Given how sensitive the matter of the headphone jack has become these days, we were never going to let this pass.
According to a tipster who is increasingly becoming popular with respect to Samsung leaks, Ice Universe, the Galaxy S9 should still come with the 3.5mm audio jack. Although a rumor, I’m sure many out there would still want to have this audio jack on their S9 handsets. At a time when OEMs, including Google, are turning to USB-C port, Samsung might tag along and do the same with the S9, but if this tipster is to be believed, we could, at least, do another year with the 3.5mm audio jack.
I think the Galaxy S9 still has a 3.5mm headphone jack

Before, Samsung used the Galaxy Note series to introduce new features. With this in mind, you can expect some of the new features on the Note 8, notably 6GB RAM and dual-lens camera, to appear on the Galaxy S9 or maybe the bigger sibling, Galaxy S9+.
After missing out on this year’s MWC event, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S9 at the 2018 event. Given that the company has reportedly started working on the phone, it’s possible that this date could materialize. But still, this report is largely based on rumors and hunches, so take it with a grain of salt.
