Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro tablet with model numbers SM-T540, SM-T545 and SM-T547 has appeared in a Bluetooth SIG certification listing today which confirms the name.
Recently, the same models bagged Wi-Fi Alliance certification and we had guessed it to be the ‘Pro’ variant of Galaxy Tab Active and today’s listing proves we were right. The ‘Product Name’ field has the name ‘Galaxy Tab Active Pro’ mentioned against each of these model numbers.
SM-T540 is the Wi-Fi only variant whereas SM-T545 is the LTE variant of the tablet. SM-T547/T547U would be the unlocked veriant of the tablet. Samsung had already released a Galaxy Tab Active 2 in 2017 which had a 8-inch screen. The ‘Pro’ moniker suggests that it is safe to assume that the screen size would be 10.1 inch for this tablet.

Apart from Wi-Fi Alliance, the same tablet had also appeared in a Geekbench listing a few months ago which confirmed the processor to be Snapdragon 710 SoC (or SD712 SoC) and 4GB RAM present in it. The tablet is likely to come with a huge battery of 7600 mAh with battery model number EB-BT545ABY but on the flipside, FCC documents had indicated just 1800 mAh battery for this phone.
The model variants of the tablet had already passed United States’ FCC as well. It has also been certified by Russia’s EEC certification body. The fact that the tablet models has been certified in Wi-Fi Alliance, FCC and now in Bluetooth SIG, all within a week, confirms that the release is not very far and the tablet may see the light of day sometime later this month or early next month for sure. In the coming days, we can see the same tablet getting certified in various countries by the respective agencies.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro 10.1 (2019) could be released alongside the upcoming Galaxy A70s smartphone or this could be saved for release separately. Stay tuned for more updates on this tablet.
