The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 is heading to a possible release soon.
Recently, the tablet’s specifications were revealed through a Wifi certification and now it has got its approval from the Bluetooth federation.
Codenamed as SM-W727V, the Galaxy TabPro S2 will be a followup to the TabPro S launched a year ago. The large 12-inch tablet was a laptop that could instantly be converted into a tablet. The specifications were quite impressive with the latest Intel Core M Skylake with 4GB of RAM and a fast 256GB Solid State Drive that kept the device zippy at all times. It also featured a beautiful AMOLED display, something that Samsung does with almost all their devices that leads to great picture quality.
Following the success, it was speculated that Samsung is interested in introducing a second generation hybrid tablet. The rumors were nearly confirmed when the S2 tablet was spotted in the Wifi Certification. The newly acquired bluetooth certificate further strengthens the claim that they are indeed going to launch it real soon. As the previous generation model had the best hardware, we can expect the newer ones to sport equally powerful configuration.
The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 features Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels. While many of the features are going to be similar to its predecessor, the big change could be Intel Kaby Lake processor. Industry experts suggest that Intel has not made any significant changes to the new processor but from a buyer’s perspective going with Kaby lake feels more of a satisfying choice. It allows them to experience the latest in hardware on a hybrid tablet plus laptop.
Samsung didn’t launch the Galaxy TabPro S2 at the Consumer Electronic Show 2017 expo that took place last month. They could probably be showing it or go for an official launch at the Mobile World Congress scheduled to take place this month. The company has already sent out invitations for the big event. They will launch a tablet, smartphone and maybe other devices but the Galaxy S8 flagship phone is not one of them as confirmed by multiple sources. The phone needs more attention as it competes with the likes of Apple iPhone 8 and may be launched in a separate event.
With a hybrid tablet as the TabPro S2, you can get the best of both worlds as it is compact to carry around, has a great display and can also be converted into a full Windows 10 laptop when you need to be more productive.
