Samsung SM-W2019 smartphone has received approval from Bluetooth SIG body today.
The Bluetooth certification of the smartphone has come after its WFA Alliance approval that was earlier in this week.
Samsung is known for launching W-series Android flip phones in China. Last year, it had launched the Samsung W2018 (SM-W2018 model number) smartphone with flagship specs.

The SM-W2019 that has appeared today on Bluetooth SIG website will be arriving as the successor of SM-W2018. The SM-W2019 is likely to arrive with flagship specifications. Hence, it is speculated that the upcoming Samsung W2019 Android flip phone could be driven by Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The Bluetooth certification of SM-W2019 has revealed that it is equipped with Bluetooth 4.2. Previous leaks have revealed that the handset is codenamed as Lykan. The same codename can be also seen on the Bluetooth SIG website listing of SM-W2019. The WFA certification of the phone had revealed that it would be coming with Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

There is no information available on the other specification of the Samsung W2019. Last year’s W2018 phone featured 6 GB of RAM and storage choices like 64 GB and 256 GB. Since Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A9 (2018) in 8 GB RAM option, there is a possibility that the W2019 arriving in the Chinese market may feature 8 GB of RAM.
The Samsung W2018 had launched in December 2017. Hence, the South Korean company may launch the Samsung W2019 flip phone by the end of this year.
