The price of the Sony Xperia X has dropped by a couple of figures to retail at $389.
The price of the Sony device only a few days ago on Amazon. The latest price drop is surprising but it certainly is not a huge deal by any means. While previously the black color version of the device was the cheapest buy, now all colors like lime gold, white, and rose gold are available at the same price.
Launched only in May 2016, the device has already been thrown off as one of the top Sony Xperia phones money can buy today. However, the latest price cuts do present a device that is a value for money proposition. Offering a 5 inch display with full HD screen, the Sony Xperia X lives up to the tradition of the manufacturer to come up with brilliant screens. Even though it may offer only full HD resolution, it is comparable with the best in the business in every other regard. Furthermore, it is difficult for the naked eye to comprehend the difference between a full HD screen and a QHD display on this size.
The Sony Xperia X comes with a snapdragon 650 processor thus placing the phone in the middle of the price and performance range. The processor may not be the best in terms of performance, but it provides a decent balance between power usage and price. It is supported by a reasonable 3 GB of RAM. As a result, the Sony Xperia X may just be one of the best pieces of hardware in this price range. The phone has a dual Sim card slot, but the second slot can be used as a memory card holder.
