Nissan Juke 2017

When the Nissan Juke was launched, it was a big announcement.

Nissan is now ready to make the crowd go awe one more time with their upcoming Juke scheduled to get launched next year. The second generation car is going to be revamped in every aspect including the powertrains offered, design, engines and a serious bump in interior comfort. While the first generation Juke was impressive, it felt cramped for passengers which the automobile brand promised that has been fixed in the upcoming model.

A set of images have been released for your viewing pleasure. The official pictures show how the Nissan Juke 2017 edition has evolved and is embracing change so quickly. Nissan is proud of the baby SUV Juke and announced that the car has sold over 100,000 units around the globe. This time, they are going after the sports car lovers and people who love a compact car but with more space. While design aspects of the original Juke will be retained, changes are imminent in the 2017 edition. The front fascia of the car will resemble the Qashqai and the change is required so that all cars in the Nissan line up look the same. With a view to provide better legroom for rear passengers, a longer wheelbase will be adopted in the Juke car. It has been a persistent complaint in the old model which should be rectified now.

An inside source claims an all-new platform is in the cards. Known as the CMF-B, the platform is much longer and is inexpensive. It is already being used in the Nissan Micra and Juke will be the second car to make use of the platform. Powertrain options available include a 1.5-liter diesel engine and a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The total power the SUV could generate it pegged at 190 horsepower.

A hybrid version of the 2017 Nissan Juke is in the cards. The auto brand has been throwing information related to the same. But, they will push it to a later launch and will focus on getting the base model and the top of the line versions out first.
