T-Mobile recently hinted at a grand plan when it comes to the Google Pixel and the Google Pixel XL but without specifying the details.

Now, it has been revealed that the network provider will offer substantial discounts on their unlimited plans. The Google Pixel and Pixel XL may seem to be available only on the Verizon network, but the simple fact is that the phones are sold only in the unlocked version even on Verizon. T-Mobile is not going to start selling the handsets anytime now, but it will provide existing owners with a significant discount on the Magenta One unlimited plan.

Owners can just walk into the T-Mobile stores with their Google Pixel or Pixel XL and get a discount of $13.55/month on these plans. It effectively translates into a reduction of $325 over the course of the year contract. For owners of the Google Pixel in the basic form with 32 GB, it represents almost half the price of the device considering that the phone retails at $649. T-Mobile also went on to claim that Verizon may have been making false claims that the Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones are available only on the Verizon network.

Launched a few weeks ago, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL have taken the market by storm. Apart from hosting the latest android version along with the new Google Pixel launcher, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL also come with one of the best smartphone cameras around. When Google claimed that the two phones will have a great smartphone camera, they were simply not making stage announcements. Put alongside the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the iPhone 7 Plus – two of the best smartphones in this regard, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL will be able to stand out with its class leading color accuracy and detail through the 12.3-megapixel camera.

The smaller Google Pixel offers a 5 inch display with full HD resolution while the XL device comes with a 5.5-inch screen and QHD resolution. The latter is likely to be the more popular amongst the two, although one of its biggest hindrances is the size. Even though they have been excellent in almost any regard, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL feel badly let down in terms of the thick bezels at the top and the bottom chins. Opting for the black color does help in hiding the thick chins to a certain extent.
