Samsung confirmed earlier this month that the blue coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was making its way to the world covered in blue coral color, just like the Galaxy Note 7.
The phone started appearing in Asia a while ago and apparently, it is making its way to the U.S. Just recently, we confirmed that AT&T was busy taking pre-orders for the blue coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, with the phone expected to start arriving on November 22nd.
In the same report, it was also hinted that the same color variant of the Galaxy S7 Edge will be coming to the U.S. through T-Mobile, however, this was still unclear. The carrier had included the phone in its inventory, something that meant it will indeed be selling the handset. Now, according to the latest reports, the giant American carrier will be shipping the blue coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge starting November 18th, which is this Friday.
With this leaked information, we can now be sure that AT&T will not be the only carrier handling the sale of the blue coral Galaxy S7 Edge, but T-Mobile is also on board. When the leaks about the coming of this color variant started showing up, a model with Verizon branding was actually the first to show up, but up to now, the Big Red has not confirmed anything regarding the phone. Nonetheless, we also expect Verizon to confirm the arrival of this handset very soon.
We don’t expect any surprises in terms of pricing since the blue coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge doesn’t come with any other change apart from the color.
The decision to add a blue coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge comes after the company suffered probably its worst disaster in the smartphone industry thanks to the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. The phone had this color variant exclusive to it, but now that it is no more, Samsung thought of adding it to its best-selling Galaxy S7 Edge, which also shares looks with the Note 7.
This is Samsung buying time and keeping its customer base a little busy just in time for the release of the 2017 Galaxy S8.
