T Mobile has started rushing the shipment of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to customers preordering these smartphones.
The official date of release for Samsung’s latest flagship smartphones is 21st April. Some days ago, T Mobile began informing its customers that they could receive their pre ordered devices even sooner.
However, T Mobile seems to be rushing the shipment even more. The company has informed its customers that had pre ordered the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ that the smartphones have already begun to be shipped, notes Phandroid. If a customer wants to check the status of his or her order, they can view it and get the shipment tracking number as well.
However, though the shipping of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ has begun, we cannot be sure as to when the devices will actually reach the user. It could be received the next week as well, as Easter is coming up. However, some customers of T Mobile could get lucky and even receive the smartphones before the 19th of April. T Mobile has billed the purchasers of the smartphones with their pre order, so this shows that the phones will be arriving very soon. The wait will begin by receiving tracking numbers in your inbox and then notifications will be sent to your smartphone. After that, users have to watch out for the delivery on their doorstop within the next few days.
April 21st Release
Even last year, it was seen that T Mobile had shipped the Samsung Galaxy 7 early to its customers. Probably, the carrier wants to carry out the same strategy this year as well with the latest Samsung Galaxy flagship device, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+. Customers can pre order the device at a price of $750 for the Galaxy S8 or a payment of $30 every month for a period of two years. The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ will be available in the stores from the 21st of April. After that, the devices can also be purchased at T Mobile and Sprint as well as Verizon, Best Buy and at AT&T.
Strong Pre Orders
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ have seen a high number of pre orders in the United States. However, the company has not revealed the actual numbers of the pre order sales. The pre order sales show a growth in double digits, as compared to the pre orders placed for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge in 2016.
In its home country, customers have placed around 728,000 orders for the new flagship smartphones. The mobile chief of Samsung stated that they are targeting a preorder figure of one million even before releasing the devices on the 21st of April.
Customers who are not interested in the Galaxy S8 or the Galaxy S8+ can also opt for the Galaxy S8 Active. The latter smartphone is a more rugged device and will be released within the next two months.
