Electronic Arts recently unveiled the initial concept images put together for a bunch of Sims 4 non-playable characters (NPCs) that will be renovated and presented in a new avatar in the near future.
For the uninitiated, NPCs are those characters that a player cannot engage with during the initial portions of the game. You will find these characters in most Sims games including The Sims, The Sims 2, The Sims 3, and The Sims 4.
A live-stream was conducted by a Sims developer on November 23. It offered one a glimpse of Neighborhood Stories, an upcoming kit in the Sims 4. Apart from that, attendees were also given a briefing about the NPCs in the game that will be remodeled.

SimGuruRusskii made the fans happy by showcasing the pictures of characters who will be presented in a different look once the update is carried out. Some of the NPSc whose appearance will be modified include Dina Caliente, Mortimer Goth, Nina Caliente and Bella Goth.The comparison images of each character exemplifies the fact that they will be given a more relatable or realistic look.
Some distinctive features will be added to the adult characters which will give players an idea about their age. For instance, Mortimer Goth will now sport a brand new mustache. Bella Goth will have a different skin tone; one that will be similar to the kind of appearance she had in the game a while back.

According to SimGuruRusskii, one of the reasons the NPCs are given a new look is because the developers want these characters to be as close as possible to their ethnic identities. The facial features that these characters will have now, as SimGuruRusskii states, will truly represent who they are. He also shared that the developing team is thinking of going for a new color for Dina’s hair. There will be a change in outfit for many characters as well.
