HTC recently teased an event that it set to be held on January 12, 2017, and according to reports, this event will be used to launch at least one of the three rumored HTC phones coming in Q1 2017.
The company has not said a word regarding which phone will be unveiled at the event. However, reports are rife that an HTC One X10 is on the cards, with the phone meant to replace last year’s HTC One X9. This has not been confirmed in any way, but we should be able to know more about this in the coming days.
Other than the HTC One X10, the Taiwanese tech giant is also rumored to be working on two other phones codenamed Ocean and Ocean Note. While the former is reportedly the HTC 10 successor, latest reports citing an unconfirmed source claim that the HTC Ocean Note could end up with its name as the HTC U Ultra.
The person behind this leaked info is the famous @OnLeaks, but he is careful enough to confirm that he got the same details from an unverified source. According to the serial leaker, the supposed HTC U Ultra will be shipping with a huge 6-inch display screen and just like the recently launched HTC Bolt or rather HTC 10 Evo, there will be no room for the 3.5mm headphone port.
This is indeed a huge phablet, but so far, there is nothing much known about the phone. Given that HTC Bolt came in with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, we also expect the HTC U Ultra to debut with this new OS out of the box.
It had been rumored that the HTC Ocean Note or rather the HTC U Ultra may make its debut at the MWC 2017 event that will be held in February 2017. Whether this will stand or not is still unknown, but we’ll be here to give you any new updates regarding the same. Keep following us!
