How to Use Two WhatsApp and Facebook Accounts with One App Installed

WhatsApp

At the time of this writing, it is not possible to have two Facebook or WhatsApp accounts logged in when one application of either app is installed on an Android device.

It is nothing new for people to own more than one account, be it on Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Twitter and so on. While some of these players have already introduced the ability to sign in with more than one account on a single app, it is still not possible to do the same when using WhatsApp or Facebook app.

Still, this doesn’t mean you can’t have more than one account active on a single Android phone installed with only one instance of the apps in question. Facebook enabled multiple sign-in on Messenger and Instagram, but it has yet to avail this feature on WhatsApp and the main Facebook for Android app. Well, there is good news as the millions who use this app on the most popular mobile platform can now log in with two accounts.

However, this has nothing to do with Facebook, WhatsApp or even Android. Instead, it has everything to do with a third party app that is available for free download via the Google Play Store. Dubbed Parallel Space, this application allows you to add a second account of an app and use them simultaneously.

It is simple. Just download the app and install it. Once it is installed, go ahead and add the apps you want to sign in with a second account. This means those with more than one account on WhatsApp and Facebook apps can easily add the second app via the Parallel Space app and keep on chatting with friends from the same phone. As pointed out earlier, Parallel Space is free of charge and it doesn’t need any rooting in order to work.
