Galaxy A21 is receiving its first major OS upgrade from Verizon that brings Android 11 and Samsung’s One UI 3.1 custom skin. It is rolling out as the 8th system update for the device on Verizon’s network. The new update brings loads of new features and improvements, including a refreshed user interface (UI), chat bubbles, one-time permission, permission auto reset, and improvements to the Quick Panel, Toolbars, Settings, Digital Wellbeing, and more. The update also brings the Android security patch level to September 2021 for better security and privacy.
Motorola Moto G Power (2021)
Moto G Power (2021) is getting its first major OS upgrade in the form of Android 11. It brings Android 11 goodies such as Chat bubbles, better media controls, and privacy features such as permission auto reset, one-time permission to apps that need your mic, camera, or location access. The new software update is rolling out as the 3rd system update for Verizon’s Moto G Power (2021).
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G
System update 29 is now rolling out to Galaxy S10 5G on Verizon’s network. It brings the latest security patch released in September 2021. As detailed by Samsung, the security patch fixes over 50 vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy. Therefore, you must install the update as soon as it hits your phone.
The update also brings advanced messaging features such as typing indicators, read receipts, large group chat, high-quality media sharing, large file transfer, location sharing, and the ability to send large text messages of up to 8,000 characters.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy Note 10 Lite, and Galaxy Z Flip
Samsung is sending the October 2021 security update to Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy Note 10 Lite, and Galaxy Z Flip users in various regions. The new update for Galaxy A51 5G in European countries with the firmware version A516BXXU5CU3. The OTA update for Galaxy Note 10 Lite is rolling out in France, bundled with the firmware version N770FXXS8EUI4. The October 2021 update for the Galaxy Z Flip can be identified by the firmware version F700FXXS8EUI2.
