Verizon Motorola Razr (XT2000-1) and Motorola One Vision Get Certified by Bluetooth SIG; Launch Imminent

2019 Motorola Razr 5G phone with model number XT2000-1 and Motorola One Vision Android One phone with model numbers XT1970-1/2/3/5 have been by the Bluetooth SIG body which confirms release is just around the corner.

The Bluetooth certifications of both the phones don’t reveal anything other that the fact that they will support Bluetooth 5.0

Motorola Razr 5G Phone

Motorola Razr 2019 is a 5G phone that is exclusive to the Verizon carrier and is the first foldable smartphone from the brand Motorola. The device, codenamed ‘Voyager‘, will have a foldable clamshell design, as seen in the patents filed by Motorola in the month of December. Moto Razr is likely to have dual design design. The processor is likely to be Snapdragon 855 SoC. All these are still rumors and we have to wait for confirmation from Motorola to know more about the phone.

With Samsung Galaxy Fold about to hit the markets in May 2019 and Huawei Mate X sometime during the middle of 2019, we can expect Moto Razr 5G phone to be released in the next couple of months to compete with Samsung and Huawei. The price of Moto Razr is expected to be around $1500. A report claims that Motorola is planning to manufacture about 200,000 units of Moto Razr.

Motorola One Vision

Motorola One Vision is an Android One phone and it has already bagged certifications from Wi-Fi Alliance and FCC. The phone’s battery (KR40) will have a power rating of 3500 mAh. The internal codename of the phone is ‘Robusta2‘ and the public codename is ‘Kane‘. The Geekbench listing of the phone revealed that the phone will have 6GB RAM and will ship with Android 9 Pie OS out of the box. The processor would be Samsung’s Exynos 9610 SoC, which is a 10nm processor with 4 Cortex A75 cores and 4 Cortex A53 cores clocking at 2.3 GHz and 1.6 GHz respectively.

The FCC listing confirmed the dimensions of the phone to be 72 mm wide, 160 mm tall and the diagonal length is 169 mm which is 6.65 inch screen. The display is expected to be 6.2 inches.

Motorola One Vision would be the third Android One phone from the brand, after Motorola One and Motorola One Power released last year.
