Verizon’s latest list of devices to get the software and security updates for March 2019 include Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+, S7 Edge and S7.
While a couple of these models receive system enhancements through this update, the main purpose is to install the latest Android security patch issued by Google for the month of March 2019 for these phones. Details area as below:
Samsung Galaxy S9
Besides the March Android security patch, the current software update Verizon supplied Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphones will receive includes a few system enhancements as well. This is the 11th update this phone is receiving from Verizon. This is a one-year old flagship from Samsung and is the lower variant of the S9+, with a display that measures 5.8 inches.

Samsung Galaxy S9+
The premium model with the same moniker as above, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ too gets system enhancements and the March security update patch from Android. This flagship phone released last year and has a display of 6.2 inches and other top end specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is the older release by Samsung in the S series and is receiving its update number 29 from Verizon. This March update carries mainly the latest Android security patch. This 5.5 inch phone has some decent specifications and though the device must be three years old in the hands of the users, the fact that Verizon is still sending software updates, indicates it is serving the users well.
Samsung Galaxy S7
The standard version in the Samsung Galaxy S7 models released in 2016 also has its 29th update being released by Verizon now. This update only has the latest Android security update patch in it. Being the standard edition, this phone has a display of 5.1 inches and some corresponding specs too would be a notch lower than the S7 Edge.
