Vivo S15 with the V2199A model number has received 3C certification in China. The S15 will replace the Vivo S12 that debuted a few months ago in China.
The 3C listing reveals that the V2199A is a 5G-enabled smartphone. It has also revealed the fast-charging capabilities of the device.
The 3C certification of the Vivo S15 (V2199A) reveals that it may ship with a V8060L0A0-CN charger. The latter carries support for 80W rapid charging. Hence, it appears that the S15 may arrive as the company’s first S-series phone to offer 80W fast charging. To recall, the predecessor Vivo S12 phone carried support for 44W rapid charging.
Speculations are rife that the Vivo S15 lineup will include three models: the Vivo S15, Vivo S15 Pro, and Vivo S15E. Rumors are rife that the Vivo S15 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chipset, whereas the Vivo S15 Pro will be equipped with the Dimensity 8100 chipset.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo S15 is equipped with a high refresh OLED display with a flat and punch-hole design. The SD870 chip powered phone will offer 12 GB of RAM and 80W of fast charging. It appears that the device will be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary selfie camera, which will be accompanied by a 12-megapixel / 13-megapixel ultrawide camera.
On the other hand, the Vivo S15 Pro is expected to arrive with an OLED panel with a curved edge and a punch-hole design. It will also carry support for a high refresh rate. The Vivo S15 series is expected to come equipped with other features such as linear motors, NFC, and an IR blaster.
Previous reports have claimed that the Vivo S15E (V2190A model number) will come with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen embedded with a fingerprint sensor, a 16MP front camera, and a 50MP triple camera unit. It will come with an unknown 2.8GHz processor, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 4,605mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
