The new Vivo Y-series phone has also been spotted on China’s CQC certification site. According to the CQC listing, the device supports normal 10W charging. It fails to reveal anything more about the Vivo Y15s, but thanks to Geekench, which revealed that it has MediaTek Helio G35 SoC at the helm. So, it could be the company’s first phone to be equipped with the Helio G35 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 2GB RAM, though the phone is likely to come in more RAM options. This Vivo phone boots Android 11 OS with a layer of Funtouch OS skin at the top.
Vivo is yet to announce anything about the Y15s. Since it has already bagged certification from multiple authorities, we are likely to hear an official announcement very soon.
In addition to the Vivo Y15s, the company is said to be gearing up to launch Vivo Y21A and Vivo V23e. It is reportedly coming soon to the Indian market. Speaking about Vivo V23e, the device has now bagged Bluetooth SIG certification. It carries model number V2116, which was also spotted on IMEI Database and Russian EEC websites recently.
